Did you used to have an event in Orlando?

Yes, we previously hosted the National Tax Summit in both Orlando and San Diego. However, due to health issues within our team, some key members are no longer able to travel, and we’ve made the decision to host the event exclusively in San Diego. This allows us to provide the highest-quality experience while keeping our expert-led training and hands-on approach intact.

Where can I keep up to date on topics and other information for the Summit?

How many attendees should I expect?

We intentionally keep the events to 50 or fewer attendees to allow you the ability to connect to other tax professionals and ask questions that will help you get clarity that will move your business to the next level.

What if I need to cancel?

If written notice is given at least 60 days prior to the event date, we will refund your fee less a $100 service fee. If written notice is given within 15 days prior to the event date, there will be a $250 service fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after 15 days prior to the event date. 

What is the daily schedule like? 

We will start each day at 8am with check in and breakfast. We will have breaks in between each session to allow for plenty of time to stretch your legs, use the restroom and network with sponsors and attendees. Each day will wrap up around 6pm.


Can I bring non-tax preparers with me? 

Yes! This event is NOT for do-it-yourself preparers, however, you may bring your team members even if they do not have a PTIN. 


Would my admin team benefit from attending?

Absolutely! A successful tax practice isn’t just about tax law—it’s about efficient operations, client management, and streamlined workflows. That’s why we’ve dedicated an entire day to practice management training designed to help your admin team master the tools and strategies needed to keep your office running smoothly.

Will session materials be available after the Summit?

Absolutely! Attendees will receive a comprehensive binder with handouts and materials from the tax law sessions on Day 1, serving as a valuable reference throughout the year. There are no handouts for the practice management sessions on Day 2, but we will provide note paper so you can take extensive notes and capture key insights to implement in your business.

Where is the Summit being held?

This year the Summit will be hosted by The Handlery Hotel. The Handlery Hotel is located at 950 Hotel Circle N and central to all that San Diego has to offer.

Where should I stay when I come to the Summit?

Our discounted room rate is now available at $189.00 per night. Guest room rates do not include local taxes and fees, currently 12.7%.  

Group rates are available three (3) days prior to or three (3) days following your group dates, based upon hotel availability.

What should I bring to the Summit?

Bring your preferred note-taking materials, and a light sweater or jacket for the meeting rooms. Don't forget beach attire for the networking party if you plan to enjoy the sand and sun!


What is the dress code for the meetings?

Business casual is perfect for the sessions—think

comfortable yet professional. Keep in mind that conference rooms can get chilly, so we recommend dressing in layers

to stay comfortable throughout the day. A light sweater or jacket is a great idea so you can focus on learning without distractions.

What is the dress code for the Beachside Networking Party?

Come comfortable and ready to have fun! This is a laid-back San Diego beach day, so wear whatever makes you feel relaxed— shorts, sundresses, flip-flops, or even a bathing suit if you want to dip your toes (or take a swim)! And if the music moves you, DJ Schnacks will be spinning some great tunes, so bring your best vibes and get your groove on!


Do I need a car?

No, a car isn’t necessary! The event is hosted at a hotel, making it easy to stay on-site for the Summit. Uber and other rideshare services are plentiful and easily accessible in San Diego, so getting around is simple.

For our Beachside Networking Party, we’ve got you covered—we’ll be providing transportation to and from the event, so you can focus on networking and having a great time without worrying about logistics!

How much is parking?


Overnight parking has been discounted at $20.00/ per car, with in and out privileges. 

If you are local or staying at another location, parking is $5.00/per car/per day.

Can I bring my team/family to the Beach Party?
