You’ve mastered tax law.

Now master the business of taxes.

Make More Money. Create Less Stress. Take Back Control of Your Practice.

Being a great tax professional does not automatically make you a great business owner.

Nobody taught you how to price your services.

How to manage client expectations.

How to create processes that don't fall apart during tax season.

How to build a team that actually makes your life easier.

Or how to create boundaries without feeling like you're providing terrible customer service.

And eventually, what started as a way to build a successful business can start feeling like a business that owns you.

That's what the Practice Management Master Class was created to change.

8 Self-Paced Modules | Practical Implementation Workbook | $997

Your Tax Knowledge Probably Isn't the Problem.

You can know the Internal Revenue Code backward and forward and still have a practice that's chaotic, stressful and not nearly as profitable as it should be.

Because tax preparation and practice management are two completely different skill sets.

After managing tax practices since 1989, I've seen the same problems over and over:

  • Tax professionals who are undercharging while working ridiculous hours.

  • Clients controlling deadlines and communication.

  • Processes that exist mostly in someone's head.

  • Owners afraid to delegate—or hiring people without knowing how to manage them.

  • Pricing based on what everybody else charges instead of what it actually costs to operate a profitable practice.

  • And professionals adding more and more clients because they believe more returns = more money.

It doesn't have to work that way.

PMMC teaches you how to run the business behind the tax returns.

What If Your Practice Actually Worked for YOU?

Imagine going into tax season knowing:

  • Who you want to work with—and who you don't.

  • What you're going to charge—and why.

  • How and when clients will communicate with your office.

  • Exactly how work moves through your practice.

  • What your team is responsible for.

  • What your internal deadlines are—and what happens when clients miss them.

And most importantly...

Knowing that increasing your income doesn't automatically require increasing your workload.

That's the practice we're working toward.

Not perfect.

Not completely automated.

Not a business where clients can't reach a human being.

A profitable, intentional, professionally managed tax practice that still provides exceptional client service without requiring you to sacrifice your life to provide it.

Inside the Practice Management Master Class

PMMC is an 8-module, on-demand program designed specifically for tax professionals who want to improve the way they operate their practice.

There are no weekly meeting times to work around and no need to rush through the material.

Go at your own pace.

Watch a module.

Complete the corresponding exercises in your Practice Management Workbook.

Look at how you're currently doing things.

Make decisions.

Implement the changes.

Then move on.

Because watching eight videos isn't going to change your business.

Implementing what you learn will.

What We're Going to Work On

MODULE 1

YOUR PRACTICE & YOUR VISION

Before we start fixing things, we need to know what you're actually building.

You'll take an honest look at your current practice, where you want it to go, and what needs to change to get there.

Because bigger isn't automatically better.

The goal is to build the practice you actually want to own.

MODULE 2

YOUR IDEAL CLIENT

Not every person willing to pay you needs to become your client.

We'll look at who you serve best, which clients are profitable, which clients create unnecessary friction, and how your policies, pricing and positioning help the right clients self-select into your practice.

You don't need everybody.

You need the right people.

MODULE 3

PRICING FOR PROFITABILITY

Pricing shouldn't be based on fear. Or what the preparer down the street charges.

Or what you think your clients will tolerate.

Pricing is a business decision—including your time, expertise, expenses, capacity and the value you provide.

The objective isn't simply to charge more.

It's to price intentionally.

MODULE 4

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

Many "difficult client" problems aren't actually client problems.

They're expectation problems.

We'll look at communication, boundaries, deadlines, appointments, document collection and the systems that teach clients how to work with your firm.

Great service doesn't mean unlimited access.

You can take excellent care of clients without giving them control of your business.

MODULE 5

SYSTEMS & PROCESSES

From Appointment to Preparation

Chaos happens when everyone is relying on memory instead of a process. In Part 1, we'll walk through the systems that move a client through your practice—from scheduling and the client interview to documentation, expectations, workflow tracking and getting the return into preparation.

You'll learn how to create repeatable processes that keep work moving, establish accountability and help make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

MODULE 6

SYSTEMS & PROCESSES - Part 2

From Draft to Done

Now we follow the return through the rest of the process.

Part 2 digs into the systems behind reviewing, checking and completing the work—including quality control, documentation, intentional redundancies and the procedures that help catch mistakes before they become problems.

The goal isn't simply to get returns out the door. It's to create a consistent process that protects your clients, your team and your practice.

MODULE 7

BUILDING & MANAGING YOUR TEAM

Hiring someone doesn't automatically reduce your workload.

Sometimes it just gives you another person to manage.

We'll talk about roles, responsibilities, delegation, expectations and creating a team that actually supports the business you're building.

The goal isn't simply having employees.

It's creating capacity.

MODULE 8

SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

You're responsible for incredibly sensitive information.

We'll address the operational side of protecting your clients, your practice and yourself—including security, documentation, policies and procedures that shouldn't be ignored just because tax season is busy.

Compliance isn't glamorous.

Neither is explaining why you didn't have it.

This Isn't Just Something You Watch.
It's Something You Work Through.

Your Practice Management Workbook is an important part of PMMC.

Throughout the eight modules, you'll use it to evaluate your existing practice, answer the uncomfortable questions, make decisions and document the changes you want to implement.

This isn't homework for the sake of homework.

It's where you take:

"That's a really good idea."

and turn it into:

"This is how we're going to do it in my office."

More Money Doesn't Have to Mean More Work

One of the biggest mistakes I see tax professionals make is assuming growth means more clients.

It doesn't have to.

1,000 clients paying $100 generates $100,000.

100 clients paying $1,000 generates the exact same $100,000.

But those are two VERY different businesses to operate.

More returns means:

  • More documents

  • More phone calls

  • More emails

  • More opportunities for mistakes

  • More administrative work

  • More liability

  • More people competing for your time

Sometimes the path to a more profitable practice isn't doing more.

It's operating better.

I've Been Doing This Since 1989

I've spent more than 35 years working in and managing tax practices.

I've seen the industry change.

I've watched technology change.

I've watched client expectations change.

I've made mistakes, fixed processes, managed teams, dealt with difficult clients, changed pricing, rebuilt systems—and even rebuilt a tax practice when things didn't go according to plan.

PMMC isn't theory I learned from reading a business book.

It's what I've learned from actually doing this.

And yes, some of those lessons were learned the hard way.

You don't have to learn every one of them that way.

I love the hands-on attention this program provides you. the investment I have made in taxes coaching is definitely helping me to change the direction of my current tax firm operations, to become more efficient and effective, increase revenues, and scale up.

Words can not describe how grateful I am to be a part of this community.

If you are wanting to learn about operating a successful tax business and learn the education component of taxes, hands down this is definitely the program for you. Make the sacrifice and invest in yourself today!

Alexis S.

I highly recommend Demi Woodson of Beyond 415 Tax Coaching.  From her coaching I better learned to set boundaries in my tax practice and to better identify and deal with various client personalities.  I am now better at troubleshooting and pivoting in my office when stuck on a task.  Her coaching results in a great value for any tax practice.

Tullio F.

Enrolling in Demi’s Practice Management Masterclass last year was a game-changer for my tax business. It equipped me to confidently set pricing and implement crucial changes, such as creating an efficient system, collecting comprehensive client information, and hiring the right team members.

The turning point? Charging a bold $4,110 for a complex S-Corp, a significant jump from my usual $1,200, and watching the client pay without hesitation. This transformation has reignited my optimism for the future.

Demi’s practical strategies were exactly what I needed — a refreshing approach that impressed me enough to sign up for her coaching. With Demi’s guidance, my firm has soared, achieving a remarkable 35% year-over-year growth to $50.2K in six months this tax year!

There were definitely a lot of "lightbulb" moments for me during the classes!!

I now feel empowered to implement her winning formula in my Tax Practice!

Thank you, Demi!

PMMC May Be For You If...

  • You're a tax professional who knows how to prepare returns but feels like nobody ever taught you how to run the practice.

  • You're tired of feeling reactive all tax season.

  • You're questioning whether you're charging enough.

  • Your clients have more control over your schedule than you'd like to admit.

  • You've grown—but your processes haven't grown with you.

  • You have a team but everything still seems to come back to you.

  • You're making money but wondering why running your business has to be this stressful.

Or maybe things aren't terrible at all.

You simply know they could be better.

You don't have to wait until your practice is on fire before you improve how you run it.

PMMC May Not Be For You If...

  • You're looking for a magic formula that fixes your business without requiring you to change anything.

  • You want someone to tell you exactly what every tax professional should charge.

  • You're looking for a get-rich-quick strategy.

  • You believe the answer to every business problem is simply getting more clients.

  • Or you want to copy somebody else's practice instead of making intentional decisions about your own.

I don't believe there's one perfect way to run every tax practice.

PMMC teaches you what to evaluate, what questions to ask, and how to make better decisions

about YOUR business.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this a tax update class?

No. PMMC is about running your tax practice, not teaching you how to prepare tax returns.

We focus on the business side of the practice: clients, pricing, processes, workflow, team management, security, compliance and creating a practice that operates intentionally.

Is PMMC live?

No. PMMC is now completely on demand.

You'll receive access to all eight modules and can work through them according to your own schedule.

How quickly should I complete it?

That's up to you.

You could move through the program fairly quickly, but I wouldn't recommend racing through it just to say you're finished.

Watch. Think. Complete the workbook. Implement.

Finishing the videos isn't the objective. Improving your practice is.

Is there homework?

There are exercises in your Practice Management Workbook.

I call it implementation rather than homework because the purpose is to apply what you're learning directly to your own practice.

Is this only for new tax professionals?

Absolutely not.

In fact, experienced professionals can sometimes benefit the most because they have years of habits, policies and processes to evaluate.

PMMC can also be valuable for newer professionals who want to build good systems before they spend years creating bad ones.

Will you tell me how much I should charge?

I'm going to teach you how to think about pricing and profitability.

I'm not going to hand every person the same price list and pretend every practice, market, client base and business model is identical.

The goal is for you to understand your pricing well enough to make confident business decisions.

Does this include coaching with Demi?

No. This version of PMMC is a self-paced educational program and does not include individual coaching or weekly coaching calls.
